Terms of Service

Last updated October 11, 2026

These terms cover your agency's use of OpsBoard, the shared command board at opsboard911.com ("OpsBoard", "we", "us"). By starting a trial or a subscription, you agree to them for your agency, and you confirm you're authorized to do that.

What OpsBoard is, and isn't

OpsBoard helps EMS, fire, police and emergency management personnel share a live board for daily calls, mass-casualty incidents and planned events. It is a coordination aid. It does not replace 911, computer-aided dispatch, radio communications, your agency's protocols, or the judgment of trained personnel, and it may be unavailable at times (for example when a device or network is down). Your agency stays responsible for its own operational decisions.

Your account

The person who signs up becomes the agency's first admin. Admins decide who can use the agency's board, and are responsible for invite links, web logins and removing access for people who leave or devices that are lost. Keep passwords and invite links private, and use two-step sign-in.

Your data

Your agency owns what it puts into OpsBoard. We store and process it only to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not enter patient names or other protected health information. OpsBoard is not yet covered by a HIPAA business associate agreement, and it is not designed or approved for criminal justice information.

Trial, subscription and payment

Acceptable use

Use OpsBoard lawfully and only for your agency's work. Don't try to access other agencies' boards, test or overload the service without our permission, or resell it.

Changes and ending

We may improve or change OpsBoard and these terms; we'll post the new terms here and, for important changes, tell your admins. You can stop using OpsBoard at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay. Ask us and we'll delete your agency's data.

Warranty and liability

OpsBoard is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what your agency paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Questions: hello@opsboard911.com
